Ted has been in the automotive industry for over 30 years. He is a highly sought after technician with training on the most advanced state of the art engines down to the most basic Volkswagen motors. In 1979 the head engineers for Volkswagen came from Germany to see the man that could rebuild a motor faster than anyone they have ever came across. They did not believe him so they all stood in front of him and watched in amazement as he broke every record on rebuild time for the VW motor. They awarded him with a pewter plaque and rewarded his efforts. This was only the beginning ted has always been extremely fast at rebuilding motors and fixing the problems that have perplexed even the best. Another talent that his boys always share is his ability to diagnose an engines problem hundreds of miles away by his boys holding a cell phone up to the motor.

We will always remember the legendary stories as ted has discontinued to do this physically demanding job. A year ago in 2009 Ted had an aortic anurism. To make a long painful story short Ted was basically dead on the operating table for 30 minutes while doctors did open heart surgery. He survived by a miracle but the ordeal has sapped his stamina and ability to work 12 hour days as he has the last 30 years. Ted wanted to continue his love and passion with the automobile industry in a different way and detail the cars and trucks he has worked on over the years. The difference between Ted's detail and others is Ted will let you know the preventative maintenance on the car and can perform these tasks himself. If there is major work that needs to be done he can point you in the right direction and save you money in the meantime. Everyone needs a friend that is a mechanic.
